Q1. Why did you choose design as a career ?

My pursuit into the path of design dates back to a decade, where every single scribble mattered!” From my childhood to now, the one thing that kept me engaged and passionate was always creating something new. Be it a doodle or a masterpiece, I thoroughly enjoyed the bits and pieces of it. This strong passion along with my mother’s encouragement, I was crystal clear on pursuing a career that I love. That’s where my design journey begins.

Q2. Where do you visualise yourself five years from now?

“I’m always excited about where my future takes me!”. I’ve always urged myself to explore everything that’s on the platter. I can strongly put forward that in the next few years, I would be doing something new, aiming and owning leadership positions, fine tuning the skills and being enthusiastic throughout the process. I would also give shape to my wish of giving back to the community and bringing smiles around me.

Q3. Whom do you consider your mentor/Guru and why?

“When you know to listen, everybody is a Guru!”. This belief has helped me throughout my path to learn and develop myself. Everybody around me has contributed to my growth in one way or the other.  A special thanks to my teachers and industry mentors for always being my pillar of support.

Q4. What is the basic theme of your designing and why?

“Inspiration is a result of Art of Observing!” As a designer, I don’t stick to a specific theme to communicate my vision. Once you begin seeing the beauty around you, the design speaks for itself. And with every design, begins a great story.

I bet bottom dollar on “Simplicity is the ultimate form of Sophistication”. The blend of design, detail and storytelling is where I find my passion and skills.

As a part of my design studies in National Institute of Fashion Technology, I had the privilege to explore the diverse fields of design with deep roots in process of Design Thinking. Having worked in the field of Jewellery, Product, Styling, Space design, I am currently exploring the art of writing.

My career target is to venture the field of unbiased design, enhance my creativity and upgrade to strike a balance between the market and customer requirements.
