Q1. Why did you choose design as a career ?
Design is something to plan or specification for the construction of an object or system or for the implementation of an activity or process. Designing is also developing ideas . I choose Designing as my career because i want to explore and create it . Designing is creating , discovering and exploring . I would love to be Design my own dream house. For me , Designing is field which can be competitive and demanding, but it’s a great career path for anyone truly passionate about art. While design jobs can be competitive and demanding, it’s a great career path for anyone truly passionate about visual aesthetics. It can be chance to explore my Designing skills to world. There is nothing more fulfilling than to see my creation come to life, and design gives me that opportunity everyday. Designers are constantly creating and executing their ideas. The freedom and choice to express your self is addictive. In my opinion the continuous process of juggling new ideas, deciding what to retain or what to drop allows you to keep thinking afresh and reinventing. A privilege that is unique to design.
Q2. Where do you visualise yourself five years from now?
According to me , I want be a successful Interior designer . I want to live as Designer . As we say hard work pays off . I really tried my level best to be designer. Many people have aims ,But i choose to be Designer because for me design is everything . Creating , discovering or exploring is Designing for me . If i get chance to Design will do my best .It is not easy to be a designer in India. The respect, trust and value for a designer’s work is still not a given. Being a comparatively new field of work, designers have to keep proving themselves. The perception that anyone can be a designer is flawed. It takes aptitude, an eye for detail and keen interest to understand that what makes something look ‘beautifully designed’.The design has a bright future in India so you have the freedom to design a career of your choice in this field. All you need to do is assess if you have the instinct and passion for an offbeat career, and then pick your preferred domain and seek mentoring to realise your dream. Where as , Designers are contributing to the entire visual world around us. There is immense scope for designers in almost every industry. More and more industrial companies are utilising the services of product designers as their inputs often lead to added values in terms of improved usability, lowered production costs and more appealing products. The design is, therefore .
Q3. Whom do you consider your mentor/Guru and why?
There are many inspirations . Many peoples who had played major roles in my journey including Mom and dad . When I actually decided to be Designer , my first support are my parents . So my Designer guru or my designer mentor is my respected faculty Mehmood khan sir . Hes amazing as faculty as a Best Designer for me . I actually started preaching him ,observing him as Designer . He taught me how to be simplify your life after being designer. His work projects are very much inspiring . I remember he said me that , Designers are meant to be loved, not to be understood. As a student i was never treated like a student my mentor stood by me as a friend he taught me several things like you should always design freely. He was wonderful as Designer thats hes mentor or Guru for me .
Q4. What is the basic theme of your designing and why?
A design theme can be defined as the recurrent, underlying objective that ensures consistency in the design of wide range of products that belong to a single family. A design theme is the implicit and implicit idea. You should always keep your design theme simple so it get easy to understand a person . Simplifying Design is what Design means , your design will be your future earnings or survivual.
Q5. Write your autobiography ?
Hello , I am Mihir prakash Darji . I was born to a very good family where i feel blessed to have my parents who always being inspiring to me. I was born in Mumbai . The city of dreams , Where people born with their aims. I was an active child from very beginning , i had develop many hobbies during school life . I was usually good at art and craft . My school life was wonderful with all facilities and gave me many chances to explore my hobbies. I started drawing at the age of 7 . I did my Elementary and intermediate and passed out with good grades. Then i cleared my SSC and HSC and passed with good grades . After HSC i decided to be Designer , An Interior Designer . There was no guess no clue what i should do in future . But suddenly i focused what i have should bring that in my Design . So i started designing and i gave entrance exams and i was part of an university campus . Itm is family to me , my campus who gave me everything to me yo keep step ahead . Then i started completing my course and became a Degree hold in BA ID . I was interning at several designer studio for my experience . But somewhere i want to explore more myself so decided to live as a Designer.
